A representative of Caribbean Tours will meet the clients at the car rental station in Havana at the confirmed pick-up time. They will assist them with the delivery of the documents, when filling in the contract and answer their questions regarding the route (e.g. distances, driving times, fuel, prices, breakdowns, flat tires, traffic signs, parking etc.).
In addition to answering their concerns, they are given the Caribbean Tours emergency number. If they have a problem during their tour, clients can contact us right away.

MORE RECOMMENDATIONS:
- Exploring Cuba by car is a good and popular idea. Unfortunately, the streets are not always in the best condition and unexpected potholes may appear. Driving at night should be avoided.
- It is rare to find street signs and public telephones in Cuba especially off the main roads.
- Travelers should have a good map (not available in Cuba!).
- People are generally very friendly and helpful, so you can also ask for directions.
- We highly recommend travelers to download an offline map or navigator-app before they travel, e.g. MAPS.ME or MapFactor Navigator. Within the app they should download the map of Cuba.

Dear partner it is a real pleasure to announce that all the prices for the next season 2023 – 2024 are ready! Main changes in the itineraries have been orientated to increase the interaction with the Cuban population for a bigger positive impact on the economic well-being of local communities and entrepreneurs. Sustainability aspects have been added too.
More than 10 new services (casas particulares, private restaurants, bars, galleries, exchanges with entrepreneurs and social projects) have been added to our itineraries. All from the private sector in Cuba, which is still a small sector compared to the number of economic actors that belong to the state.

So, get ready to check out the main changes and improvements we have included!
CUBA – In our tour “A Lo Cubano”, we have included a cocktail class in the private restaurant “Mojito Mojito” and the lodging in Trinidad has been changed to Hotel Mystique Trinidad, services of superior quality. Several accommodations in “A Different Island” have been changed. We have now included Hotel Louvre*** in Matanzas, Hotel Sagua*** in Sangua la Grande, Hotel E Central*** in Santa Clara, Casa Maikel in Cienfuegos, Casa Juan de la Habana in Havana. “Grand Tour of Cuba” stays in Baracoa will now be at Casa Particular Isabel Castro. The DOMINICAN REPUBLIC – After making a whole range of modifications and options available for our two most popular Seat In. Our team have put together an incredible itinerary focusing mainly on the south of the country. Clients will be able to visit wilderness as far as the eye can see, wander through lush forests and see unique animals. This trip will appeal to nature lovers, but also to explorers of all kinds. MEXICO – We have added a new tour to our inventory: “Selva Lacandona”, a 9 day tour to experience the breathtaking natural wonders and cultural heritage of Chiapas, Mexico. Also, our group tour “Yucatán Highlights with Calakmul” has an additional night (current duration is 8 days) at Calakmul, one of the largest cities of the Mayan world.
