A representative of Caribbean Tours will meet the clients at the car rental station in Havana at the confirmed pick-up time. They will assist them with the delivery of the documents, when filling in the contract and answer their questions regarding the route (e.g. distances, driving times, fuel, prices, breakdowns, flat tires, traffic signs, parking etc.).
In addition to answering their concerns, they are given the Caribbean Tours emergency number. If they have a problem during their tour, clients can contact us right away.

- Exploring Cuba by car is a good and popular idea. Unfortunately, the streets are not always in the best condition and unexpected potholes may appear. Driving at night should be avoided.
- It is rare to find street signs and public telephones in Cuba especially off the main roads.
- Travelers should have a good map (not available in Cuba!).
- People are generally very friendly and helpful, so you can also ask for directions.
- We highly recommend travelers to download an offline map or navigator-app before they travel, e.g. MAPS.ME or MapFactor Navigator. Within the app they should download the map of Cuba.
