We are actively involved in the Travelife Certification process, an internationally recognized standard for sustainable tourism companies. This involvement validates our commitment to sustainability and drives us to continue implementing best practices in our operations.

Caribbean Tours Cuba & Caribbean Tours Dominican Republic are now Travelife Partners

On June 5th, 2025, Caribbean Tours Cuba was awarded the Travelife Partner status, recognizing our ongoing commitment to sustainability and corporate social responsibility.

This achievement was followed by Caribbean Tours Dominican Republic, which received the same distinction on August 25th, 2025.

These milestones reflect our compliance with more than 100 sustainability and CSR criteria aligned with the ISO 26000 principles, covering areas such as environmental protection, biodiversity conservation, human rights, and fair labor practices.

Travelife is a three-stage certification program for tour operators and travel agents:

We have proudly reached Stage 2 – Travelife Partner and are actively working toward Stage 3 – Travelife Certified.

The Travelife Partner award is a recognition of our commitment towards social and environmental sustainability. We comply with more than 100 criteria related to sustainability management, office operations, working with suppliers and customer communication. We are working towards further improvements, aiming to eventually reach the Travelife Certified stage.

Ciclo EcopapelTransforming Waste into Resources

We collaborate with Ciclo Ecopapel, a project that transforms recycled paper into handcrafted products. As part of this initiative, we donate paper we no longer use so it can be turned into 100% recycled artisanal paper, supporting the circular economy and waste reduction.

Each handcrafted sheet of paper made by Ciclo Ecopapel represents a commitment to sustainability.

The production process involves:

0.10 kg of recycled paper
0.045 kg of reused cardboard or cardstock
3 liters of collected rainwater
0.0125 kW of solar energy
2.5 hours of manual work

By supporting this initiative, Caribbean Tours helps reduce waste, promotes responsible resource use, and contributes to local craftsmanship.
